what size speakers will fit in the kick panels

Taken the front kick panels off to replace them and going to fit some speakers into them at the same time.

Just wondering what size speakers will fit - was looking at 10cm or 14cm ones, and whereabouts in the panels people have fitted them?

 

6'' x 9'' will fit mounted vertically between the headlight bowl and the door pillar.

anyone got piccies of 6x9s fitted in the kick panels?

I have a set of these spare but thought they would look too big?
