Does anyone happen to have the (rough) dimensions handy for a camper with Super Viking roof? Just enquiring whether we will fit onto the auto train down to the South of France. Am thinking length around 4m, width maybe 2m, but no idea on height. thanks!
Oohh I didnt know you could do that. Now that would change the face of a long distance trip as want to do Italy. Not the driving its the time (and the wear and tear and petrol costs.) I dont know height though sorry.
She just said no campervans, no motorhomes - even if they are little dub ones. I said surely there are 4x4s which are bigger than my bus and she agreed that yes, it was a stupid rule but still, they wouldn't let me on board if we turned up in one. So we're going to get the ferry to Caen and drive to Bordeaux and then pootle back up through Brittany. It would have been brilliant - go to sleep in Paris and wake up in the South of France.
