usings loads of oil and just need to use the bus a couple of time's before i take the engine out to sort it,just want to know can i use 15/40 cheap oil insted of the 30 i am always using that isnt cheap to loose all the time?
Mineral 15W40 or 20W50, from whoever. Forget the single grade 30 - a multigrade is better for your van.
Great ,that post sorts my plans for 2day ! (am pulling up chair and opening multi-packs of beer/food)> £23 for" Morris", locally (Glasgow)
i have heard recycled chip pan oil is ok so too is melted butter and lard failing that go for what snotty says
I was only using that straight 30 becouse when i braught the bus it came with 10 litres of the stuff lol.
Is this a good place to ask what oil everyone uses, and for what size engine? It would be interesting to see what brands people go for.
Anyone's oil. They're all made to the same spec. I used to use Duckhams, now Halfords, but Asda etc will be fine. Your engine's not fussy.
3 in one on the push mower lard on my bike chain and olive on the top of my head to keep the flies orf
