As part of a winter jobs list I intend to replace the oil pump on my GE 2l type 4. I need to replace the clutch release bearing so engine out anyway. Which pump will fit or is recommended.
Sometimes on tickover I get a flash of an oil light just before a near stall. I didn't realise they came apart and had a seal inside on a t4 engine when I last took the engine down to a long block. I also suffer from lifters bleeding down possibly due to low oil pressure. If engine is out I thought I would rule out the pump as the cause
