Camper needs reassembling after respray, pickup needs a respray, yellow bus needs full resto but no welding , should keep me busy till Easter
Well Clem is perfectly useable as is, but, in no particular order..... 2 small bits of welding Get engine tuned so it hopefully idles better when cold Fit new rear light cluster on off side (I've done near side) Fit reversing lights Hang new curtains when my mate gets round to finishing them (she offered to make them for my birthday last June!) Sort out some sort of fire suppression system Get the heater cables sorted so that the middle one moves all the way up and down Replace the 4 long window seals Replace the exhaust silencer and tail pipe (hoping nothing further back needs doing but...) Replace gear lever bushes etc so it's not quite so sloppy Replace fuel line behind fire wall (everything in front of firewall has been done inc fiddly joiner under spare wheel well) Go nuts with the waxoyl Sort out rock n roll bed hinges Buy a cover Save up for a retrosound radio Save a bit more to get seats covered Save up really hard to buy a propex heater Hmmm, it didn't seem such a long list when it was just in my head. Anyone wanna help?? Do you think this is a bit much for a couple of days at Techenders?
Looking forward to seeing it, so you've just got a "normal" bell tent and fashioning a connecting piece?
Fit new headlamps Fit new seat belts Undersealing MOT Change to UK camping electrics Buy awning so we can go away in it! Probably lots more too, but at least it'll get started on Tuesday when she's going over to Volkshaus...
To much to list but being started this month, cant wait to get it back on the road. (4yr old grandaughter getting impatient)
put petrol innit... although I did notice the d/s wiper rubber was coming off I will just swap it with the passanger side ,i don't look out of that part...
The list is growing and trying not to get to stressed thinking about. Lack of time and weather gets in way !
Identify all the bits in boxes and stick them onto the collected together bits sat on the drive.... and rebuild the engine
Have a clear out in the insides, it's accumulated too much extra stuff over the winter. Replace the bedding and go camping. There's a load of other stuff I could do, but this is the most realistic stuff
Here's a few jobs I have to do to complete the resto of Wilby. Tidy chassis and paint underside of cargo floor Wire split charge relay Servo breather pipe (fit filter at end) Headliner above sliding door Cover and fit door cards Fit new n/s door tinted window glass Wire stereo Upholster seats in rear (started) Fit bamboo parcel shelf Fit tracker Paint and fit central belly pan Wire electric hook up Replace rear off side brake cylinder & wheel bearings New spare tyre & paint wheel Make spare wheel cover Roof rack (make or buy one) Engine bay top plate(buy or make metal one) Modify rear engine tin
As Matty really , it gets well used for trips away but i need to sort out the outriggers & sills , floor , interior and a multitude of minor niggles but it just keep going (he says hugging the nearest tree ... )
Restoring and the list grows shame the money tree doesn't grow too !! But can't wait to have it ready for summer (fingers crossed)
