Well, I’ve had a busy day! Got ‘supervised’ whilst climbing onto this: It was nice to sit on, but a bit too big for me: Got myself one of these (apologies for the amateurish attempt at concealing personal details!): But actually got it through riding the bright green thing in the background!!: Was rewarded on the way home by this (and a pint in the pub): It’s probably not a big deal to a lot of people, but after my birthday yesterday, I am feeling even older and wrinklier than ever, and was getting a bit anxious about doing my CBT, so am really quite chuffed with myself! And it’s the first step towards avoiding the hideous bus journeys I have to get to work Mr moosey also did his CBT, on a proper geared bike so he's chuffed as well
Well done you two. Biking is a brilliant pastime. It won't be long before your both riding down through France, Switzerland and on the the Italian tour.
Just CBT I'm not sure if I'll be going beyond that - I'm going to get a scooter for now and see how I get on. Mr moosey may progress but needs to have a think about it first! And it wasn't particularly a birthday present - it just happened to fall on today.
Well done! I did my CBT and then straight on to do the big bike test, as I got the biking bug! 'Twas my mid-life crisis and was swiftly followed by getting into the whole Dub thing with my T4 as I needed a van to transport my greenlining bike!
Congratulations to you both, I recently got rid of GSA like the one you sat on, great bike on and off road! Happy riding both, keep it shiny side up!
Well done @Mrs Moosey & Mr @moosey . I thought the BMW was a bit big for a beginner, I can see a new TLB splinter group forming "Beaver Bikers"
