Primed the two sliders ready for base tomorrow.

 

just got the engine in place bed time after a shower i think

 

The trimmer's fitting the headlining, the windscreen blokes putting in a new screen, I'm carrying on fitting some lovely door and panel cards all round the bus, in readiness to fitting the camping interior this weekend with my bro, and my mechanic mate assures me he'll have the steering fixed by Friday. Coming together at last. The bus, that is.

 

yes the one we went to was good, that one you mention in fairbourne is good too, just over the estuary from barmouth it's in the area of the jolly malc has planned so could be tagged on if people have an extra day etc.

 

Saved more money towards parts and resto. :

 

Battery charging and buying more batteries and wondering if I should do an alternator swap before CJ as the dynamo has finally packed up completely. How far will a fully charged battery get me with no charging on the way would you think? 150 miles surely?

 

Opened the side door.Got some tools out and changed the shocks on my daughters Yaris ;D

 

Nothing yet but as soon as I get home it's:

Run a few spare wires to cab from leisure battery
Fit in cig lighter
Fit new madmatz cab mat
Fit in interior units
Cut and fit interior unit side, worktop and doors
Fit rear seatbelts
Put foam back in for seats and cover with a throw or similar
Fit door handles and winders
Tighten wing mirrors

And then most importantly...

Start filling her up ready for Camperjam!

 

Cleaned mounting points for rear seatbelt. Bought seatbelt and will install on Friday. Always something to be done

 

Fabsil the awning in the rain !

 

Fitted the engine hatch and the rear bumper/towbar then finished priming the two sliders.
