what did you forget on your first trip

A long enough hook up lead, some of the supply points are quite a distance away!

 

Mallet for putting up the awning. D'oh!

 

On 2nd trip we didnt take the guy ropes to hold up the sun awning.

 

Coffee then on another trip the dogs lead had to use a bungee strap,

 

Trousers , i left home in a pair of shorts and when we got there it was bloody freezing and wet ( i should be more like the tuesday wildkid )

 

a spare fan belt ...... and then blew the engine up ...... very expensive first trip away

 

Forgot to check the gap between the roof when leaving and closed it on a torch which cracked the fibre glass and knocked it out of place ,had to hammer it back in

 

To closed down the pop top when leaving the campsite. Luckily only got as far as reception to pay!

 

It was a camping trip but on bikes. We went to the moto gp in lemans last year.

Well the idiot,here got down to Portsmouth to board the ferry and forgot his passport PMSL. Had to ride home and go the next night all on my own :-(

 

dont sound like anyone has the buzzer fitted

 

must be easy to put a tag on dash to remind you each time you put up roof

 

didn't forget anything, got the van and that night went to the pub got very puggled and passed out in the back of it

 

It wasn't quite our first trip, but we forgot the petrol cap key.

Kind of necessary when you have 80 miles to do to get home and are redlining :


on our actual first trip we forgot to check what key fitted what, and promptly snapped the one and only ignition key in the petrol cap.

there seems to be a theme here
