At work so more printing *yawns* Off out tonight to a Caribbean restaurant to celebrate our friends engagement (sadly the restaurant is in Northampton not the actual Caribbean)
Just about to load up the van , going camping at Bala Lake for the weekend. Setting off as soon as those pesky kids get back from school . Hands over ears ,we’re going in the T6 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hows the engine, my mate has a T6 and the engine blew up, he hasn't a good word to say about new VWs at the moment.
nowt wrong with meggies (as its known) indeed we were at the country park behind the premier inn watching the local scouts raft racing and they ended up more in the water than was on the rafts - the,re bred hardy up north lol
I can't drink much cider as it affects my stomach (had an ulcer when I was 18!!) but Rattler do a really nice one sold in wine bottles, think it is matured in oak whiskey casks
I’m back home, made a slight effort at tidying the house, and about to lay out in my back garden. (considerably warmer than Cleethorpes @Ermintrude ) Off to see The Jersey Boys later in Sheffield, I may bust some moves!
So far so good , no issues with engine although it’s a T6 it’s got the euro 5 unit 140hp and it’s only done 7k miles . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Drove bus to work. Completed software for three different projects today. Went to a works summer BBQ and ended up chatting to somebody who has a fast Hillman Imp, an Austin 7 and a load of motorbikes discussing backfiring on the overrun. Drove it home. Cant decide whether to weld a hole in the wheel arch, or ignore it and try to find small air leaks either in the intake or the exhaust.
Weeding and watering all day, had 3 foot of nettle dragged through me armpit. Bit warm. Took hound for a walk downt beck at sunset.
Just got back after venturing into town for the evening Had a nice meal and saw Jersey Boys at the theatre Now back home with a cat who isn’t allowed out at night due to dick head drivers thinking it’s a race track and already killing one of my cats Annoyingly as it’s a full moon she’s hyper and wants to be out hunting, not just sitting nicely and quietly.
Been stage managing Cabaret Saltaire and some great ‘turns’ for The internationally renowned agent to the stars, Squinty McGinty. Tonight we raised money for the Samaritans and had a blast. Nazzed and my face hurts from laughing so much even though I was ‘working’. Now home to a shouty cat and aching feet after a boogie at the aftershow disco. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’d never seen her before let alone work with her. She’s fantastic! If I have a party ever, I’m booking her! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes! We get some cracking acts on but have to say she’s one of my favourites now. May have to start thinking about my 50th and getting things booked... or maybe I’ll just bog off to Bognor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
