After a very enlightening phonecall which was supposed to be about direct debit going wrong, lady at the council suggested arranging things slightly differently. She sorted it all out and now it looks like I'm getting a 100% business rates reduction backdated for 18 months so a cheque will be in the post. 8). Just in the nick of time TBH. Next on the list is Eon - they cocked up somewhere and though it was disconnected they continued to take a standing charge for economy 7 for 10 years or so. They tell me they must now reasses all my bills and BY LAW must apportion a chunk of it to ecomomy 7 - 30-40% if I remember. That's going to add up I hope.

Well Lou and me decided to take William on a trip down memory lane in the van . We set off down all the country lanes where we used to live and ran a business from our first camper van selling fruit and veg door to door . We even popped into the little country church that we got married in and met a couple who were married there 30 years ago too only they were married a month later --
