    Excellent, I’ll send up my waterproof jacket. And trousers. Maybe the Hat. And socks....
    even my skin is soaked through to the skin!! :rolleyes: :D

    tensile testing to destruction on that particular test piece however I cant give any of these away. I may have other identical pieces I can give away :)

    Was a bit of a long shot!
    Timber "I beams" tested to destruction have been very useful in our selfbuild ... The ends get knackered to show the metal fixings won't, but there's usually a useful 3 metres or so left that can't be sold, so otherwise gets burned.
    Machined metal, particularly with some moving parts, is my holy grail for sculpture projects that sit quietly waiting in the wings :hattip:

    Thank you sir :) good news is I’ve passed!! Hurrah, that’s me done for 5 yrs :)

    Bad news is Sarah is going out running so I’ve got to do the shopping as friends coming for tea :(
