What are they

  1. Can anyone help?

What are the torpedo shaped things inside the air intakes on my 79 microbus. They have pipes that run into the engine bay but are not connected to anything.

  2. Sounds like the fuel vapour/ gas pipes that connect from fuel tank to air filter mate?

  3. It's the fuel tank ventilation pipes, that's what I was trying to say!! :)
    Here.....

  5. Thanks lardy. Great info
I do like snottys theory that late bays have anti road rage torpedoes built in.
All I need now is a sunroof periscope and a trident nuclear missile
My van already has a nuclear reactor out back
    Dive dive dive!!
