What are the best quality engine gaskets?

  1. Hello again one and all.

I know this may have been covered before but I have done a quick search and can't find the specific answer.

What make are the best quality for engine gaskets, I have found prices for a complete set range from £9.00 - £29.00. All of the advert pictures on the tinterweb look the same so am going to change my approach and look for specific makes. The only make I have heard of are eldring, but not sure of their quality as I haven't used them before.

    Your views please.

I think its the Reinz ones. No doubt someone will come along to point out I'm wrong though!

  3. Victor Reinz or Elring

  4. ^this. Elring are good - I recall GSF sell them. Avoid the Brazilian sets.

  5. Elring are OEM

  6. Don't buy any gaskets made by Victor Sylvestor. He just didn't know what he was doing.
