What am I missing

What goes on this pipe in the lower left of the pic, guys on a Facebook forum say it's some form of fan. Anyone know where I can get one, and will it damage the engine not having one. Cheers

 

I think you may have T25 heat exchangers and some T25 tinware. On a T25, the heating is all from a fan seperate to the cooling fan. You don't have the fan so nothing to connect to the heat exchangers and no heating. The engine cooling is entirely separate.

 

But you did say on Facebook that warm air is blowing out of it so best block it off for now.

 

Seems like connecting a fan to it to blow air into it nd hooking the other end up to the hot air pipe under the bus may also be an interesting idea

 

Also said on fb that they're going away in it next week so probably not got time to source and fit a snail fan and associated pipe work and wiring,check riser pods are there and cabled up etc, so I suggested blocking it off till holiday over

 

Ignore anything you read on Facebook. Unless it's a cat on a skateboard. They're quite amusing.
