I'm just curious as to the breakdown of what years are most popular amongst Late Bayers.

 

Mine is a 1972

 

Ours is a '79.... I'm a late late bayer

 

I've added a poll now so get yours marked down.

 

Oh and mines a 1979 December 31 st so very very late late bay.

 

mine turned 40 last week

Early '73 and 27 days too young to be tax exempt :-(

 

1972. Good poll, there always seem to be a lot of 1972 vans around on tlb, will be interesting to see how many.

 

38 in December - 1974

 

march 6th 1978 is the build date on the m plate and the vw birth certificate, however the dvla put 1.1.78 on the v5, i rang them to complain and was told they only care what date it is exactly if it's tax free or close to being a different registration letter!

 

Early 1975 - I think. There's no M-plate as it was made in Mexico, but the V5 shows Jan '75

 

Registered or Built? mine was built in '75 but only drove off the forecourt in '76!
