That’s an eberspacher vent hole. Just stick some flat plate over it

 

I know I removed the eberspacher years ago. Plan is to get a metal cut with the correct pressings (paint it) and make a hidden cupboard .It will be bolted down using rivet nuts fitted to main body and sealed with a cut rubber gasket .

 

Saying that I assume the missing section did have factory pressings ? anyone got a picture please .

Great service from Simon at NOS ! he sent me pics of the panel on the vehicle and I just outlined where i wanted it cut .Price was very fair and he also managed to help me with a few more bits .Thanks again for the tip .
