Hi guys and girls, im Dale from north wales, im 22 and have just bought my first bay, a 1979 with just 27,000 genuine miles with full history, every mot from new, every single invoice, needs alot of tlc but I had to have it!! That's a fair mileage for an annual holiday. What matters is where it's kept for the rest of the year. If it needs tlc it may not have been garaged all the time. Oh, and welcome from currently sunny Yorkshire!
I know the mileage isn't always a good thing, I work as a mechanic and even my boss has said it's the sweetest sounding aircooled engine he's heard!! It's not been garaged any of its life and has had a couple of bodge jobs on it in the past, its a Danbury conversion with all original booklets, tintop, I payed £2500 for it, which some may not think is that good, but I am chuffed to bits!!! At 22 I have a 1982 bug and now a late bay, I just love them!!! Will try and get some pics up! Thanks for the welcome!!!

nice bus..great colour and the best year..1979. had by 79 since 98 still going strong..86,000 on clock now..enjoy.
