Hi, I'm looking for a specialist to set up the twin weber 40's I have on my 2 liter type 4 engine. The issue I have is when I collected the van following restoration it drove like tractor..... I had the carbs set up by a guy in Lincoln and he did a great job, drives well through all gears, however last year after running out of fuel....(Gauge still registering 3/4 full!!!!!) I measured the mileage over fuel use and came out with about 11 MPG!!!!!!!!! So I am now looking for a specialist to attempt to maintain the current performance but increase the MPG to something more reasonable. Any pointers gratefully received Many thanks Paul
Also if it's driving great your not far out, probably just thraping it too much, I got down to 14 mpg trying to keep up with @Silver down to Kent last year
