water set-up

can you show me your set-up i have a smev unit and need to set up correctly with water carriers

 

i have a tank mounted under the floor so i have max space inside

 

matty i have now done fuse board and need to wire the tap does it wire from tap to pump if so what type of pump

 

+ from fuse to tap
tap to pump +
Pump - to battery - or body metal

pump Depends most peoeple use a submersable one that fit on the end of the pipe and goes in the water container like this

The one Matty has recommended is fine. Depends how much you want to spend and how much or a trickle / power shower you want.

 

We had a shurflo in the Aussie bay.Going to put the same in the Jurgens.Think I spelt it right.Maybe shureflo.

I bought a water container, 10l , from Go Outdoors. Went in the cupboard.

 

i have one of those for water and one for waste but would like a tank or waste underneath

see if i can manage with space i have first if not then maybe get something like that.

 

I have now just set up the Jurgens with a 35l tank under the rear lounge seats.I use this with a shuflo pump as other than the outlet/inlet pipes it is sealed from getting any grit etc into the fresh water.The Aussie Bay had a similar set up but with the tank slung under the body.CAK tanks sell loads of different sizes and fitting kits etc.

 

Matty - am interested in your tank under the floor - have you got any pictures showing where you put it and how you fixed it etc?

How do you empty and fill it? Is it easy? What size is it?

Am trying to decide where to put my water at the moment and like the idea of it being underneath.
