Washer jets??

My bus has washer jets on the front under the windscreen but I can't find a switch?

 

Pump up the washer bottle under the dash with a bike pump, then pull the washer stalk towards you...

And watch the water pour out of the steering column all over your feet

 

Or run down the inside of the front of the bus. Check there is a hose from the washer bottle going up to the steering column switch area then another piece from there to a t piece and then hoses to the back of each jet. Original VW hose pulls off the connectors very easily while you are fighting other things under the dashboard.

Or somebody might have installed a microswitch and an electric pump with a blown fuse or duff or missing wiring.
