one of my neighbours pulled a knife on his father last night , his father is an elderly man bad heart drinking problem etc , car loads of police landed to try and arrest him , some of the neighbours went up to see if we could help and it started to get a bit nasty , neighbours turning on the police and each other , i got between the cops and helped to restore some peace so the cops could continue to do what they where there to do , hand comes out the top window holding the knife , cops had there guns pointed so he dropped the knife , tghey then bundled in to pinn him down , at this his father starts shouting there 2 heavey hand ed , prat . some of the neighbours where starting more hassle again i stepped in , to stop any one getting arrested , when they got the man in the police car he kicked of again , so i asked could i speak to him ,explained that his actions where putting his father s ill health at risk and to pull his horns in , the cops thanked me for helping to defuse the stiuation , and they left , at this point the family turned on me as did one of my so CALLED mates and neighbour ,shouting why did i help the police , why did i not help the boy , etc etc the neighbour then shouted that i was a police imformer , thats why i helped the police , well the long and short of it , i HOSPITISED HIM , the policed came back and said bloody hell NOT you lol but his wife came up to the police and said that her husband was at fault and not me as did a few other neighbours , and he isn t pushing charges , WOOPY DO , should have kept his mouth shut , so i got bail , until wed , what a bloody night and theres me thought i was doing a good thing , the police women said don t worry you have 12 police officers that seen what you done and will make statements to that , happy days , 43 and i still think am 18 not lol owen nw :-[ :-[ :-[ : :buttkick:
blimey owen, you don't do things by half do you? glad all is ok now hope it don't kick off again, i suggest a drink or 3 to calm your nerves.
Jeez Owen hope it turns out alright and doesn't rumble on. Just goes to show that acting the good samaritan can sometimes backfire. Good on you for what you did though most people would turn a blind eye.
It's no wonder most people just look the other way. Good on you Owen. And good on the Rozzers for seeing it like it is. They like to keep their arrest numbers up over here so they'd have done you first, took your DNA, prints and a mug-shot, referred to you as "sir" throughout to try and provoke you, then dropped charges and kept the info.
Good for you Owen sounds like you did the police a favor,wish a few more people would stand up for themselves might teach the youth of today a bit of respect for the police and there elders. O
