Hi We have recently purchased a vw westerfalia type 2 camper but the electrolux fridge inside won't work. We don't have any manuals or instructions for this fridge. We have already rung and emailed electrolux and was told "records don't go back that far"! Does anyone know where we can get some instructions/manuals either shop wise or a website.? Model is electrolux-Kerry-dometec model no c660c-ge prod no 9265362. Many thanks for any help
Hay I'm in the same boat with our fridge. It's an elextrolux and when I bought the bus the guy said it was just a cool box. I had the unit out the other day to fit an electric water pump and tap, and found 2 wires and an earth connection on the back. Inside it says it's 230v but the wires don't look big enough to cope with main voltage. I went to elextrolux and they said the same, that they don't have records back that far. I'm not sure if these fridges were standard or it was put in after. My bus is a 1972 highlight westfalia contently interior.
Hi when you say it doesnt work??? Is that on gas?? or electric?? Will pilot light light ?? on gas?? More info needed. Try a search on net for info ,just type in type and code you should get something. If it is just lighting gas one , then their is a tip, take control knob off put a tiny bit of blue tac in hole in knob then put it back on it will more than likely light then
Try searching on Thesamba.com i found a thread with photos showing how to wire mine up and it works fine now
