Purchased after failing it's roadworthiness test and then left. My 1975 Devon Camper journey to roadworthiness.
Although I've been on The Late Bay for a while now, thought I should show my buses journey to roadworthiness and in the process give me inspiration to complete it as quick as possible. Deadline 04 March 2015 the buses 40th birthday.
What the rear end looked like and it only got worse. The rear tub was shot. The C-pillar isn't in any better condition.
Both rear chassis members required major repairs. The rear valance was to far gone to repair as well.
Bit of a gap between the last photo's and now. Removed the fuel tank before any welding, this proved quite a task and ended up with the straps having to be cut.
