VW Paint supplies? UK or Netherlands

Hi all, my 1st post here!

So I have T2, 1978, called Barney, he is grey and white, I looked closely at his paint and I can see brush strokes! So I want to give him a proper paint job and fix some bubbling rust.

Before I start sanding him down I want to get hold of the paint, I need to check the D-plate for the codes I think he was blue and white originally.

Anyway, my question, where can I get VW paint based upon the D-plate codes?
I am based in the Netherlands and regularly visit the UK, I can travel further to pick it up.

In the Uk any company that supplies automotive paints should mix you the correct colour, I assume it will be the same in the Netherlands.

 

ok, thanks, I will check out some local garages to see if they can point me to a paint shop.

 

Google it, a friend ordered online and got his paint delivered next working day!

 

Just hope the bubbling rust doesnt lead you into the restoration forum :-X
