Has anyone got experience of the Universal Washer Bottle and Pump kit from Heritage? https://www.heritagepartscentre.com...ttle-with-12-volt-pump-universal-fitment.html The washer bottle (which is part of the JK 12v kit with torpedo style bottle) has self destructed and its beyond repair. I'm thinking of going with this one but wanted some feedback first. ie, how does it fit onto the bus, where etc etc. If anyone has any images I'd appreciate seeing one fitted. Thanks
Sorry, no, OG bottle with Friendly Local Auto Parts Store generic pump mounted below it and a micro switch in place of the valve under the wiper switch here.
I thought that too but it sits flat and not upright, like this apparently: I cant picture how it would fit where the torpedo style one fits.
The link to the kit Heritage sell contradicts itself, one picture (initial post) is different to the later image I posted from further down in the detail. I guess its torpedo style kit and I know that will fit.
I noted that, its so you dont have to faff about looking for the button in the dark..Major has a neat little push button which you have to look for in the dark
Hard to beat a genuine bottle that has the outlet on the bottom, just leave the cap a bit loose if you use an electric pump. The filler is also in the right place for your door card and if you have the filler cover too it's all fairly neat? Or it would be if I'd cleaned it!
