FOR SALE VW galvanised steel Water Tank

Original VW galvanised steel Water Tank from a VW Split Screen Sundail conversion campervan. Has a small hole in one corner.

£100 ono

i would say it's galvanised steel as ally doesn't rust.

aluminium doesn`t rust but it does corrode ....just saying like .....

but this tank is galvanised steel not alloy

 

after 21 years of landrover owning i'm well aware ally corrodes! anyway back on track, i think we've let the o/p know it's not ally.

 

Not easy to weld either if it galvanised.

Thanks for your comments, my mistake with the material I have changed it now. I'm not techy so thought it was Aluminium. Also agree description of excellent condition is not right and will update. Thanks again every little helps. Any further advice would be appreciated as I'm new to all this. ;0)

 

you do need a hole in it to put the water in ...
