Oh I want to go! But I'm scared. I only got my van last December and we've only done some short local runs so far and what I have learnt is that she is reliably unreliable. 118 miles might be a stretch.
Blow it I'll go I've got so much learn about VW's and I'd love to meet some of you lot - you sound like a nice bunch of people.
I think I'll book a day ticket and see if Violetta will get me there.
Might be the time to get myself some breakdown recovery - any recommendations anyone?

 

I think having roadside and relay on AA or RAC is a must with these things ...

 

You're mad not to have recovery when you own one of these.

 

I do intend to get recovery. Usually she restarts - eventually but we have a local garage where one of the mechanics has one so he's been helping us out.
Is it just the AA or RAC then?

 

I can't help there as I'm in Australia but put a thread up asking for recommendations.

 

To get the camping ticket I had to buy a weekend ticket but can only go to the show on Saturday. Would any one like my ticket for the Sunday, I'm sure one of the LB members would pass it on.

 

All booked up for the weekend.
