  1. Hi all ,new to the cool world of air cooled late bays.Built a few Land Rovers in the past and passion has drawn me to rebuilding a 76 excecutive and then a 72 panel van bus.Have both standing at home.Joined the forum to learn from the experts and ask I hope not to many questions.Live in South Africa and will tour SA when the kombi is completed.Things done already ,interior ,rock and roll bed, things to do,spray and mechanical.
Life is a journey and would like to do it in bay.
    Thanks in advance ,Raymond

Warm Notts, you must have a coat on for it to be warm in Notts

    Hi Raymond,

Welcome, ive just joined the forum myself having just bought a crew cab that was built in Germany but assembled in South Africa.

I think some of your country is missing as it's still stuck to the underside of my bus.

May I pick your brains ? Are there any SA resources I could use to research the history behind my crew cab ?

I got no history with it save a paper disc in the window.

    Thanks.

  19. Hi Stirlingmoz send me the vin number and the info you have on the bus and I see what I can get for you as I work in the motor industry and can ask the guy that does our registrations to see what he can pull from the licence department.
