I know so many vw people and fans that moan there is no local meets somewhere to go and meet i went to on a few months ago i heard of through facebook in a local pub to me when i arrived there was me and 2 mates and the orginizer and couple of friends and 1 or 2 others this was the 1st meet the following month there was just 3 of us the meets never happened again yet still hear people moan the same people who knew about this meet the i hear about the 8 BALL DINER meet in witham essex where me and my to mates who helped build my bus decided this would be his 1st proper run out we got there just before 7pm but not many more arrived just a handful of vw's arrived all night which is a real shame as it could of been an amazing night as the 8 BALL DINER put on a good night there was nostelgic bugjam from 80's and 90's the very vw's that inspired me into the scene in the 1st place as well as 3 drinks costing me a measly £4 less then i would of paid out of my local shop and food was just as cheap i appreciate not everyone can make it but the locals really should make the effort because if people dont these sort of things will disappear they really made an effort just wish people would make effort to go
