  1. I went to this show in Leicester today. From their website, I was expecting a kind of mini-VanFest. So I was very disappointed when we arrived. There was one bar and two food stands. There were no more than 5 shops (a couple selling the usual hippy clothes) another flogging house carpets, one bloke flogging T25 bits and a coffee bar in the back of a Splitty. There were about 12 vehicles on display, only 2 Bays. There were two marquees; one for the kids to play in and the other I what I guess was for evening adult entertainment (were bands played). And that was it! I drove 80 miles for that! I was amased to see that the 100 or so people there seemed to be having a good time. God knows why. A mini-VanFest would have been 10 times the size. What a load of cack.

  2. I totally agree, we went yesterday and drove a round trip of 350 ish miles for the same sort of turn out. was the guy there selling caravan / camper interior parts ( hook up kits etc) he was talking about leaving at 10.30 am yesterday, he did not seem impressed.
We were thinking of trading there but due to other commitments couldnt do the weekend so decided to go for the day to see if it was worth it next year, needless to say not trading there next year!!
After letting gate staff know how dissapointed we felt managed to get a full refund on tickets, still cost me in fuel tho!

  3. Same as last year then :( Its run by the same people as Van Jamboree allot of people left that show very disappointed too.
