Valentine's Day Warning

Less than a month away, but still plenty of time to book that restaurant or order the flowers.

If you order/book now you'll probably miss a lot of the inflated prices.

Quite rightly you wont want to get caught up in the commercial side of it so why not book for the 15th instead - you wont have work next day either .

Don't say I didn't warn you.

We don't bother with Valentine's day - it comes after the run of birthdays, Christmas and wedding anniversary. But if we did, I'd rather have bus bits than something pointless.

 

my wedding anniversary 16th, we usually amalgamate the 2 dates.

 

You are supposed to surprise your girl with a random dinner out / present when it's least expected. Fulfilling made up expectations on a given date is not my thing, sorry.

 

We don't do Valentine's Day & never have. We do celebrate our wedding anniverssry though!
Just as well we don't do anything really as Matt is snowboarding that week in Austria with Freya & his parents ... I'm having a week of peace & quiet
