valentines day today

just been and done my duty 24 hr tesco's. This is just a little reminder

 

I popped out to Mr Sainsbury last night.

I went to waitrose. No cards left so settled for flowers and chocs instead.
I received nothing.

 

Bought the card ages ago and just gave it to penny this morning. I'm kind of exempt from the whole valentine's day thing thus year, because I was admitted to hospital this morning for the day. Sort of gets me out of the whole going out for a meal thing

.... ive not got anything either yet...but i havent got paul anything will probs make him a card today.... and try get a dine in for 2 thing from somewhere hahaha

 

MrsTW has just found her card in the fridge with a bottle of bubbly than went to another cupboard and removed a card she had got for me still in its warp showed me it and put it back.

 

I think it's a waste of money .... bought a card yesterday from WH Smiths and it cost more than the camper van magazine purchased at the same time ... flowers get sent to the wife's office that way she can show them off to the girls she works with

 

She's recycling!

 

Absolutely having nothing to do with it.
I buy Mrs TBR flowers and choccies whenever I want to and tell her I love her a dozen times a day.
There's certainly no need to increase the profits of the retail multiples and Hallmark on any specific day just because they say so.

 

I've been a good boy, sent flowers to Ms.T at the hospital, cooked dinner, decent champagne to drink.
Now she's gone to bed as she has to get up early to fly to a conference in Melbourne for the weekend. Think I might go camping for the weekend

 

i got the mrs a tesco value valentine card...

 

il get 3 red roses from my wife today, they came in a cab from a flowerstore.
