It has always been a pretty good show so far! Make sure you do the drive out - that's a fantastic sight to see!

 

How did I miss this event? We were planning on going to the IOW this year. Hope tickets are still available. Does it get oversubscribed?

This will be our second yr, last yr was busy but the second/overflow field still had a lot of space left in it. The ride out is great and we went to a surfing beach last year - hope we do that again!

 

Hi there I spoke with the guys at V-Dub island today. All sorted.

Have sent you all a email to see who is coming but can always add more for those who want to come.

Also to add is anyone bringing a fire pit. Might be good to have one in the evening.

The overflow field was good because it had a ensuite through a hole in the hedge

Well this is all sorted and good to go. I have been told that when you arrive just ask for the late bay camp and they will direct you.

I have never been and will be getting there on the Friday due to work. Should be a good one.

Still not sure who is playing or headlining the Saturday night !!!!!

But this looks a great show all the same.

BTW, I'll have the bbq/firepit below but will be ar Vdub as part of a 2 week trip so won't have any room for wood I don't think......

 

Still not sure but we might be in a tent oh the shame

 

If I remember I will pickup some wood or charcoal for that bad boy fire pit Bilbo the bus

The more the merrier. Should be plenty of room although I do not know the layout of the site. Hopefully club campers should get a good spot. Fingers crossed.

 

Just a quickie, in case anyone is not familiar with the ferries to the Island, they are very busy this time of year. example: I went across to do 4 deliveries yesterday in a lorry, I rushed around hoping to get back before the rush. I got back to Portsmouth at 9:10am. I was Booked on the 1:00pm. I didn't get on until 1pm. Bored .com

If you arrive too early they will probably send you away ! If you arrive too late they will get you on when they can so could be a long wait.

If you have not booked you may well have a problem

Please make sure your vehicle length and height is correct, they are right funny buggers if its wrong.
