Uptown or downtown?

    In Sheffield I’d say going into town, in Banbury I’d say going down town, or as the proper locals say going dane tane

    We used to go ‘down town’ at the weekend, but there’s bugger all worth going down town for now, unless you want a cup of coffee or a hipster haircut. No clubs anymore, the few remaining pubs have all gone upmarket, so you have to have a small fortune to go in them, or some sort of new eatery that will close down in 6 months time, or have new owners.Oh, and lots of people from London that have bought houses and pushed the price up so high, that I think my children will be living with us forever!
    One of the top places to live in England now though...
    I remember when it was all fields,etc...
