  1. Anyone used this site? I joined after my trip away this weekend and reviewed the site I stayed at. I said it was just ok but that it was dated and not quite as it was described. They have asked me to review again so they can set my review 'in context' which is a bit like saying they vet them before they publish them. Seems a bit odd to me

  2. I use it quite a bit, though have only ever submitted one review (I think). If you just said "it was dated and not quite as it was described" it would probably be that they'd like more detail (ie why you thought it dated, or what was different to the description) ...

  3. I use it to read reviews but must confess I never write any.

  4. Ive have read lots of reviews on there to help me choose and there are plenty of negative ones on there if people have had bad experiences, so i would say its a pretty genuine site, if anything i think they may just want more detail maybe

  5. I've used it to pick sites - seems good to me - I haven't become a member though

  6. I have used it but only ever written on review, on Corston camp site ..................shudder.................

  7. I've used it loads for finding campsites, I've found it to be very useful indeed when trying to find a decent campsite. Only written one review so far, but not really had any problems with it - maybe it is as has been said above - there needs to be more detail.

I use all the time also, but more of a reader than a poster

  9. Yep, ^^^ what they say. Used it and seems to reflect reality. I always try to remember that opinions are personal and offer a snapshot in time.....

  10. Yes this, don't just read one or two you need a few reviews to get an idea.

Anyone can leave a floater or a skidder in even the best camp site bogs ;)
