Tyres

  1. Hello!

Can anyone recommend any van tyre fitters/suppliers around the derbyshire/nottinghamshire region? It's quality over price I'm after really.

    Thanks!

  2. There's one in Alfreton I've used, can't remember the name, give us a few mins and I'll find it.

That's the address, I think they were Supertyres or summat similar.
They were certainly cheap and had access to all the quality brands as well as cheapos.

Is it the actual fitting you are concerned about or tyre brands/price?

I got mine online and fitted locally - waaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than the local tyre sellers:

    E.g.
    Camskill - Continental Vanco - £70

    Kwik Fit - Continental Vanco - £93.10

Appreciate fitting is a couple of quid a wheel.

  5. Grippy? I used them and got commercial rated Uniroyal's fitted at home for less than kwick-fit or anywhere local could do a van rated tyre

  6. Cheers, I live in Alfreton so that's not far from me!

I wish, I've just been quoted £10 per wheel to refit my van tyres after I've had the wheels powdercoated.

  11. Local garage here charges £10 to take the old tyres off, so you can get them powder coated, then refits and balances any legal tyre you want fitted a few weeks later.

Had them do that a few times.
