Type 4 inlet manifold gaskets

So do we use the metal ones or the paper ones? Is there a preference.
The paper one probably keeps the manifold/carb a bit cooler helping against evaporation

 

I use the paper ones.

 

Another vote for paper, I have used the metal ones but usually use a bit of instant gasket too.
