Just putting me heat exchangers on, 1.8 type 4. The left hand side has an oval hole in the top for the corrugated tubing that goes up to the snail fan, but it’s been a while since I took the old ones off and I can’t figure out how to get the tubing on without it fouling on the oil cooler. The oval hole on the heat exchanger is directly in front of the oil filter in the below pictures, so it seems like the tubing needs to run immediately 90°, under the cooler and then turn 90° again and up through the top tinware, but I can’t see that being the right way of doing it?! It seems like I’m missing something, or have the wrong exchangers?! (They are the ones with the deep collar that fits into the heads) Am I missing something?! Physically or metaphorically! Can't remember which side but one of the elbowed tubes has to be pushed through the hole of the upper tin ware before the heat exchanger is fitted ...otherwise you can't get it in ...could be your problem ...if so, at least the engines out

No you need the elbow that has a right angle that fits through the top tin ware. will post a pic in a bit.
That’s the badger! Don’t have that at all, I must’ve had it on the old one!! don’t suppose you know what it’s called do you? Or a part number?
That’s the one, I can only think that I’ve binned them in the process of tidying up Is there a part number in that book?
Bet there will be some at Dubfreeze ...why not ask Dunc Malc Bern to have a look at the parts stall ,,,had quite afew last year .
