FOR SALE Type 4 'GE' code 2 litre Fuel Injection engine - project £750 ovno

I'll add more details as time allows but I'm thinning out the Type 4 engine collection further.

I've accumulated these parts with the idea of buidling a replica 'GE' code 2.0 litre engine complete with original L-Jetronic fuel injection but just don't have the time to spend on it and have other engines stashed away that I want to work on ...

What I am selling is a longblock, with two complete fuel injection systems but minus flywheel. The engine is in total kit form at the moment. Main parts included are:

'GE' code case (minor dink internally where a rod has let go at some point in the past but doesn't affect sealing or function)
2.0 litre crank & rods
NOS Mahle (Brazil) piston & barrel set (some fins damaged unfortunately but nothing major) - still boxed
Practically unused genuine hydraulic camshaft
Correct oval-port heads (one has had some helicoils fitted to studs but both in good condition otherwise) - valves are 39.3/33
Hydraulic lifters, correct hydraulic pushrods, pushrod tubes & retaining springs/wires
Rocker gear, covers and bale clips
Oil cooler
Oil filter mount
One 7-pin and one 6-pin L-Jetronic system - AFM's tested and checkout according to Bentley, fuel pumps tested and work - ECU's interchangeable between 6 and 7 pin systems and both un-tested but bought in good faith as working, two dual relays, both bought in good faith as working

Collection only from Hereford (20 miles from Malvern where Busfest is being held).

 

Dual relays tested on Jokers bus last night ..... both fully functional.

 

Alright mate rickyroo1 said you have a drive plate for an autobox for sale? If so how much bud?

 

Dragged this thread out of the back of beyond, engine still for sale at original price.

AFMs, fuel pumps and dual relays all tested.

I could probably put together a set of tinware, heat exchangers and silencer (AT ADDITIONAL COST) if someone was looking for a complete engine but haven't got a spare flywheel or mounting bar.

I think the asking price is fair for what's included...
