With mechanical pump would you fit filter between tank and pump, after pump on feed to carbs or not bother with one at all?
Cos then it filters all the crap from the tank, which is the prime source of filth. Put it after the pump, and pump may fill with aforesaid filth. You've also got a vulnerable filter on the pressure side of the pump, which isn't good.
Ta. I thought that too but read somewhere, on here I thought, to put it after the pump. Didn't know why so thought id ask.
