Type 3 Distributor

Don't suppose anyone has got one lying around they don't need? Trying to get a type 3 engine running thats been sitting for while, needs another carb and manifolds etc but just a starting point.

AS21 is the casting material. Should be another code for the engine.

 

Need to take a look tonight if i can to the yard

 

Should have an engine serial number somewhere, with the engine code as the first letters.

Very kind of you cheers! At the min i just wanted to get a run out of it but i'm missing a distributor, a carb the one that came with it is a Solex 31 pict 4, (not even sure this is the correct one?) need an electric fuel pump as it doesn't have the provision for mechanical, and couple of bits of tin ware but they may be in the bags of crap i have lying around. Been told its a 1776 but need to get the heads off to check.

So.....heads off and checked and it is a 1776! Anyone have an idea of the correct distributor for this case??
