Makes all other sports look tame. The ultimate test of a man, his machine and skill on the edge of reason.
I definately would have done the TT in my younger yearsgiven half a chance but it amazes me how old some of these guys are. The TT is a fantastic spectacle. Everyone should go once in their life! As for Guy, well hes the new Fred Dibnah (on speed). Right Boss!
Saw it in 3D, Ms.T had to leave as she started feeling nauseous from the camera work. Great film & the IoM is one event no motorsport fan should miss
They have the Skerries and North West 200 on satellite TV sometimes. 200+mph on public roads racing other guys....!!!!!
ive done +180 on a public road but scratching against someone who want sto be on your bit of tarmac... Mental. Makes the TT look easy!
I've clocked over 200mph down from The Creg. II actually beat Guy at Silverstone way back in 2001 I think. Can someone clever google Conor Cummins Crash and post it here. It's amazing, Conor's a good mate. I last raced on the Island in 2005, it NEVER stops scaring you!
Connor was lucky to survive that one, real nice guy though! We've booked a place for Betty on next years ferry, still not 100% if we're going to make it though. Last time we went the Senior didn't run, maybe we're a jinx
That happens a lot. Usually weather related. I've had torrential rain in Douglas, bright sunshine in Ramsey and fog on the mountain all in the same lap!
I thought I knew what the TT was until I came across the film by chance. They are all complete nutters! It's on my must do (spectator) list now.
I've been to the TT 12 times so far as a pillion. I've got a cine film that I took on Mad Sunday one year!!!! Awesome. Anyone going in 2014 - I'd love to go again but probably in the camper unless I can get my bike licence in time.
