over things in my house, the other day, I decided to make a conscious effort to get rid of a load of stuff on Farcebook market place, in order to spend it on the van. So far, I have raised £460.00! Anyone else had any luck selling stuff on there?
When I saw this, I thought that you'd fallen over.....careful, your edging towards the "had a fall " category . On a serious note, I've some stuff to get rid of, it sounds like Facebook Marketplace works, must give it a try.
Yep sold my car and other stuff also bought stuff on it; you still get a few time wasters but being face to face your less likely to get messed around unlike eBay that’s full of idiots now
I bought 2 old kitchen tiles with a pretty picture on from a charity shop...20p I paid. Sold em on ebay for £35.! That was a few years ago.
No, surprisingly not, usually clothing or footwear that people have ordered online from the U.S. and ordered wrong sizes and it's too expensive to ship back. Last purchase was a pair of Sorel snow boots retail here about $300.00 got them for $75.00
I quite like using it to get rid of low value stuff ... people collect for cash and saves stuff going into landfill. Worth finding & joining the local buy & sell groups to.
Sold some vintage car radio and multi cd changers on abay . Took 5 weeks to sell them all. Probably earnt eBay more money than I have earnt . But marketplace will be my next port of call for selling stuff . Seems far better than eBay or gumtree
Same here. Have good memories of going out to pick some shrooms. Remember once we got some nice ceps and wood blewits and made a lovely quiche with them. Yep, they were crazy times alright!
I remember in my twenties going picking at 'mushroom hill' on IOW. "Eat some as you go and they show up more" I was told.
