Looks like a great opportunity to me. I wish an advert like this had cropped up when I was a nipper - I'd have jumped at it - even if it did mean a 3 hour round trip in my Beetle every day.

 

Looks like a fantastic opportunity for someone but I find it quite amusing that the implied catchment for candidates is so small for this role! Im sure there would be candidates in small town England and many far flung part who would jump at the chance and move hell and earth to do this.

One (or more) critscism I have of mags, and the reason they dont appeal to me greatly, is that they tend to be penned using a standard set of phrases by captain charisma and proof read by next doors cat. I am mildly amused of attempts by young journos to do CRAZY whacky zany things like borrowing a camper and going camping in it, but that doesnt happen with any great frequency. Im amazed that any VW publication can go Monthly but good luck!

 

Great oppertunity, maybe now we'll see some customer rides rather than the usual restorers showing of there latest van!! then have it for sale in the same mag

 

or ending the article with, 'Thanks to (huge list) this car/camper/van is now for sale'
