Does anyone want to go elevenths?..... Had a good mooch round one of these at Haigh Hall North West VW show recently...nice chap that owned it as well. Great spec, masses of room, really well-designed and put together.....as for the Westy table....if you can afford to drop £200 on a piece of old laminated ply, then you can surely afford to lend me £11K 'till after the Tour
Bagsy park it outside your house. They're too big. And the westy tables? I don't think you'd find one in good condition for less, if at all.
I agree....It's just that I don't see it as an original table, in good condition, and therefore quite rare (ie valuable to someone looking for one)...I look at it and see £6 worth of birch ply, £5 worth of plain white laminate, some card-tables hinges from Woodfit and a bit of creativity with some flat bar and a vice....plus a couple of hours fettling. Just the way I am... plus the knock-on effect, when people making repros, are marking the prices up by 200% Guess it comes down to what you can afford and whether you're prepared to pay it, or whether you'd rather make something yourself (assuming you have the tools)
