Looks like you nearly are destroying the arm ... when I did mine I made my own tool and at that time only had a 20 t press .. one wouldn’t budge so I got it hot and then she went ... you could melt the plastic out then cut it out . YouTube it
Cut it out dont press it out. Angle grinder and reciprocating saw are your friends. Slice the back off it push the ball out, cut two or three places out of the ring left in the suspension arm. Looks almost like you were pressing hard on the wrong bits, or was that the tool collapsing?
