I've got a broken tooth, has a big filling in it and I chipped it on a Polo. It's not hurting but I think it will have to come out eventually. Hate going, the pulling and drilling doesn't bother me, its the needle!
Yep done it once years ago disgusting! Ok serious question time, my dentist said today they couldn't pull it out because the injection wouldn't work because of the infection but I think she was too busy. I'm in agony and not wanting to go on about it but have I been fobbed off? If so I'll try and find somewhere to get it pulled out as cant wait another week.
They won't do it until the swelling goes down mate. If it really hurt you'd manage to pull it yourself - stop being a nince. ;D
It can be difficult to properly anaesthetise an infected tooth predictably. I think that's why normally they wait
Pete... Listen to me Forget the Pills, forget the salty water... You must go to the Off license and purchase a bottle or two of Southern Comfort.. Honestly, no joke Now don't drink it as in shots.... Just hold it in your mouth until your mouth feels numb, then swallow.. And repeat as necessary. Best not to drive or handle machinery.. ;D
I given up the pain is too intense trying to pull. Can't twist as its in between others. Cheers for advice and sorry for moaning.
i had my wisdom tooth removed a few years back - i had agony in my head for months and months - as soon as the tooth came out it all stopped. i have also had other tooth issues and will soon have 3 removed and replaced with metal ones
Mate don't pull it, if it is infected you could be in serious trouble that is why the dentist won't pull it. I know how painful it is but the antib will kick in soon and ease the throbbing!
