But there are plenty of vans that get away with all red indicators and American cars for that matter. Must just depend on the MOT person
They've never questioned the red indicators on my 64 for the MOT? These car restoration shows are always 'engineered for entertainment', so you have to take it all with a pinch of salt! Good show though, I would have painted the bottom half sealing wax red and slammed it over a set of alloys! £25k with no interior?
it's common knowledge it's an entertainment show, most of the vehicles are for sale on the discovery website or e-bay etc, if they don't "sell" before transmission a researcher or friend "buys" the car.......
Been watching that show since it started and always thought at least it was vaguely genuine at the end. Its like I've just been told santa doesn't exist Why God? Why?!?!?!
Just saw this last night. Mrs Low always said this was a "fix" and I said it wasn't. She's a wise woman. 25K????
Hmmnn.. don't like black (not really a vw colour, and doesn't work on a 13w deluxe IMO..) don't like chrome bumpers on a split, don't like banded steels - looks really wierd with the wide wheel and stock suspension. And 25k with no interior? Looks solid though. Never heard of "rubberised compound" instead of waxoyl - anybody done this on a bay?
Isn't rubberised compound the stuff they paint posh garage floors with? Anything you drop on it will effectively bounce, so would work well on a vehicle underside.
In my opinion it would have been better if they had painted the bumpers ivory to tie it to the interior
