Ok ignore all the shopping adverts this is a really good toddler camping activities list. http://www.squidoo.com/campingactivitiesfortoddlers#module151023255
what about home made play dough? cheap enough to make and if it gets muddy, twigs added etc it can be safely composted. 2 cups plain flour 1 cup salt 2 cups water 2 tbsps oil 4 tsp cream of tartar food colouring/paste (paste gives stronger, more vibrant colours) a tub to store it in Mix the dry stuff first and gradually add the oil, water & food colouring, mix to a fairly solid dough that should test your muscles when stirring it! Approx 5 mins in the microwave on high (you may need more - I made a batch today and it took 7 mins in total) When its all cooked through start to knead it (you may need to throw away ant really dried cooked bits from the sides) Today I made bright green and have added green glitter ready for St Patrick's celebrations next week
Haha they look awesome bekyip I make mine the same way 72wilma but with 2 cups flour, 2 cups salt, 1 water, oil, and just mix together no cooking needed x I love making the playdough x
