A chance to reduce carbon emissions, get fit, and avoid the traffic jams – what more could you ask from Walk to Work Day? I'm not going to work today so I'm not joining in. In fact, I could walk to work because it's about a mile from my house, but I don't. Now I've missed my opportunity
When I lived and worked in London I walked to work. Now I live and work in Yorkshire it's an hour drive each way. Something not right about that.
Just heard that there is no wifi at Spring Camp so you may have to make your own days up over the weekend unless I can find some phone signal
There is no way I'm walking to work. It's a 40 minute drive or 1 1/2 to 2 hours if I have to go by public transport. 120Km round trip, nice thought but not practical
I walked to work today.... Down the stairs to my desk, via the coffee machine.... Gotta love working from home
I would of walked to work today but unfortunately didn't read this until I was already at work, ah well maybe next year
No its a bit far and need to get Mrs TW back to do another at Grantham crem plus get the over due van in for its MOT. The MOT man is very very nice.
That reminds me of a time long long ago in that London when me grandma was alive the council sent a person around to fix her front door. Knock knock and there stood a girl with a carrier bag. Come to fix your door she claim. The tools in have bag were out a kids toy so my grandma let her use me late grandads tools and if memory is right gave her some of them. Them was the days of the yts job scheme.
Another working from home person here .. so yes, I have walked up and down the stairs a few times today
